Recording

General Settings and MetaData
- Enter a title for the recording, and complete the remainder of the metadata fields as required.

Limit Duration
Tick the box if the duration of the recording should be automatically limited, and enter a duration. The 'Limit Duration' checkbox can be un-ticked while a recording is active, if required.

Publishing Policy
Select a Publishing Policy from the drop-down-list.

Private or Public
Select whether the recording should be private or public.
Private content may only be viewed by the user who added it, or users whose schema membership permits them to view other user's private content within the selected Publishing Policy.
Public content can potentially be viewed by any user whose schema membership permits them to view content within the selected Publishing Policy.
Note: The ability to add content as private or public is dependent on your permissions within the selected publishing policy. The private / public option may therefore be disabled if your permissions are restricted.

ERA Licence
Confirm if an ERA Licence message should be shown to users viewing the recorded content.

Broadcast
Tick to confirm if the recording should be broadcasted.
Note: You may not have permission to broadcast recordings and the option may therefore be disabled.

Save to File
Tick to confirm if the recording should be saved to file and then published and made available on the Planet eStream Website.
Note: You may not have permission to save to file and the option may therefore be disabled.
Video Source
- Click the camera icon above the video preview window to open the video source dialogue.
Video Quality
- Click the HD/SD icon above the video preview window to select the video quality.
- Select the desired quality and aspect ratio. By default, three presets are be present; Lower Quality, Higher Quality, and High Definition.
- Optionally, click the 'edit presets' link to remove, add, or amend a preset.
Audio Source
- Click the speaker icon above the video preview window to open the audio source dialogue.
- From the drop-down-list, select the desired audio device or select '[ No Audio ]' to record video with no audio.
- Select the audio input volume, if required.

If Dual Encoding, select whether the audio should be encoded onto video stream 1 or video stream 2.
Note: If Windows automatically reduces the volume of sounds while you are previewing / encoding then please see this help document.
Audio Quality
